Girasol Quartz

also called Moon Quartz or Pearl Quartz — with a characteristic soft inner glow: when light passes through it, the stone seems to bloom from within, like a pearl lit from the inside, or a moonrise seen through thin cloud.

Its name derives from the Spanish girasol — sunflower, or "that which turns toward the sun" — and this sense of gentle, persistent orientation toward the light is perhaps the most accurate description of what this stone does for its keeper.
