Star rose quartz has very similar metaphysical properties to regular rose quartz, however, you do not need to cleanse or recharge star rose quartz because it contains rutile.
Rutile on its own tends to look like threads or needles of metallic fibers, and it can grow straight through just about anything. When rose quartz contains rutile and has a smooth polished surface, it gives the crystal it’s unique six-rayed star when a light is shone on it.
